Disney's Planes on Blu-ray Just $7.99!

There is a great deal you can get on the newly-released Disney's Planes when you use coupons. But it's a little complicated, so bear with me. Don't be daunted by the sign-ups because they will come in handy for more deals down the road.

1. Sign up for Scott Shared Values here. They frequently release great coupons for new release Disney movies, so it's worth having a membership.

2. Sign up for Disney Movie Rewards (DMR) here. You can earn points toward movies, merchandise, and special promotional deals by being a DMR member and entering codes from Disney movies you buy, entering bonus codes, and uploading your Disney movie ticket stubs. Several times a year they even offer free movie tickets when you enter codes from specific movies.

3. Claim the special DMR code for $7 off Planes from Scott Shared Values here.

4. Scott Shared Values will send the code to your email.

5. Enter the code at the DMR website and print your $7 off coupon! (You should be able to print two of these if you want to).

6. The Toys R Us ad is advertising Planes on blu-ray for $19.99, plus you get a $5 gift card when you use this coupon. (If for some reason it doesn't ring up at $19.99, be sure to point out the price advertised with the coupon on the front page of their weekly ad, which they should have in the store).

7. When you take into account the sale, coupon, and gift card, it's like getting Planes for $7.99! Be sure to save your gift card for Black Friday items you're planning to buy anyway.

8. Make sure to take advantage of this deal no later than Friday Nov. 22, since that is when the $7 coupon will expire.

I succeeded in getting my two copies of Planes and $10 in gift cards this morning for $23.98 plus tax. What a steal!

*NOTE: Dani went to her Toys R Us today to claim this deal, and they were all sold out.  She attempted to have them let her "pre-pay" and then pick it up when they got more in stock, but they told her it was a "While Supplies Last" deal.  She went to Target and showed them the ad for the $19.99 price point, and although they wouldn't honor the $5.00 giftcard portion, she was able to get the Blu-Ray with her $7.00 coupon for $12.99.  So that's an option if your Toys R Us is sold out.  WalMart would honor it as well.
