Smith's and other Kroger-affiliated stores have been doing "Free Friday Downloads" for a few of months now. Most Fridays they post a digital coupon on their website that is good for a free item (past free items have included things like a bag of Orville Redenbacher Popcrunch, a bottle of Clear shampoo or conditioner, and a bag of Tostitos tortilla chips). This week it's a free Betty Crocker cookie or muffin mix pouch. Just sign into your shopper account and download the coupon to your rewards card (for instructions on downloading digital coupons, check out this post). When you swipe your rewards card at checkout, your item will be completely free! Free Friday Download coupons usually don't expire for two weeks, so you have a little while to snag your free item.
